Indications

Apistym is used to improve the condition of bee colonies. The use of the preparation increases the resistance of bee colonies to diseases, in particular to nosemosis caused by Nosema apis and Nosema ceranae.

Properties

Ginseng extract contained in Apistyma increases the level of phenol oxidase (an enzyme involved in the immune response), increasing the family’s immunity and increasing its vitality. This makes it easier for bees to fight pathogen infections. Apistym administered in autumn feeding increases the survival rate of bee colonies in winter, and when used in spring, it accelerates their development.

Dosage and method of use

Shake well before use!
Preparation of Apistym with sugar syrup solution.
Autumn feeding – 4 ml of Apistym per 1 liter of sugar syrup.
Pouring the alleys between frames, stimulating feeding – 20 ml of Apistym per 1 liter of sugar syrup.
The temperature of the syrup should not exceed 50 ° C.

Use in the fall

Apistym should be used in a sugar syrup solution or in ready-made foods for bees at a concentration of 4 ml of the preparation per 1 liter of syrup. Prepared sugar syrup or ready food with Apistym should be given to bee colonies during autumn feeding. The amount of food given should be adjusted to the strength of the family. The recommended dose of Apistym for one family is 40 ml (10 liters of syrup). In the case of administering a smaller amount of syrup, it is recommended to additionally pour two times (with an interval of 7-10 days) on the inter-frame alleys with a solution of Apistym in sugar syrup with a concentration of 20 ml of Apistym per 1 liter in the amount of 5-10 ml per street.

Use in spring and summer

Pour the bee streets with a solution of Apistym in sugar syrup (20 ml per
1 liter) in the amount of 5-10 ml per street, twice (with an interval of 7-10 days). Apistym solution prepared for pouring on the streets can also be given as stimulant feeding in the amount of 0.5 – 1 l per colony. Use the above dosage for each stimulant feeding. Apistym can also be served with dough in the amount of 4 ml of the preparation per 1 kg of dough per colony. Use immediately after opening. If you do not use the entire bottle, the preparation can be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 14 days. Apistym was developed with the participation of scientific and research units of UMCS in Lublin, UP Lublin and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. The composition is protected by a patent application, and its properties have been confirmed by laboratory tests and use in apiaries.
